5 happy years of plot time

We got some frogspawn out of our neighbours pond and have taken it home and then after about two weeks, it has turned into Tadpoles. We have decided to put the Tadpoles back into the pond today and keep three at home in a jar. In the jar, we have put Watercress in there to feed them.

We put them carefully in the pond in their tub of water. We didn't want them to die of shock!

We have named our remaining three Tinks (Louis' nickname), El Bamerino (Sammy's nickname) and Frank (random thought process).

The plot is set and ready to roll.

Happy FIVE year anniversary to plot 18B. You have been the best.

the MEN

last sunday  we went to hang little mini figures on the archway.

we also painted some stones . by the way this is in 2015.

we watered the Broccoli  and the Broccoli was quite big.

we planted out the cucumbers and courgette and pumpkin. They started to get big.


the pumpkins are called mammoth and they are gonna be ginormous.

Joke day

In the allotment we watered our broccoli and weeded. We watered 2 sweetcorn. then sammy read some Jokes. What is another word for a Dentists Surgery? ... a filling station !

The Potatoes had grown leaves and so we put more soil on top.

Mummy nearly mowed into me! I found a worm and went for a walk to find something beginning with "S". I found a stone but it wasn't a stone, Mummy said it was a Potato that looked like a stone.

I drove down the alleyway on Mummy's lap.

Plotting

It was a nice day and me,Sammy,Neil and Jo got the rake out and started to smoothen the soil so we could plant.  I planted some peas and gave them a water.

We also planted some Parsnips that I thought were Onions in the first place.

My little brother (Sammy), in his plot, planted Broccoli seeds. Just to tell you it is his favourite vegetable.

My friend Bill has a plot a little way before ours and we looked in their pond and saw some Tadpoles.

We also played on their swing. I also raked our plot and I found a piece of glass which I thought I could keep but My Mum said it would be sharp.

Potato day

Sammy is guest blogging  this week (aged 6)

Today we planted potatoes and put them in tyre. They are going to sprout and then we put more soil on and another tyre to make the stems long.

i lOVE potatoes!!! I picked up two worms two.
I watered thepototoes and had a biscuit.

Plot time

What a day, blue sky, bright sun and cold. An hour spare and a trip to the plot was too tempting. I raked over the mucked beds and cut the grass. The Raspberries are reproducing with gusto and needed some culling.

All set for the new season, seeds ordered today too from the wonderful Chiltern Seeds. Veg galore!

today we went to the plot and we were deciding what veges we were going to plant.

i wanted to plant carrots  brocally. louis wanted to grow sweet corn cumbers neil wanted to grow cabges beetroot. jo wanted cornet's baens.
