Roasties

Lou and Neil were playing footer the other day so Sammy and I popped to harvest Potatoes for a roast chicken dinner. There were lots and a special one for Sammy- a red one!

All was well, the Beets are ready and the Pumpkins are going to be good for Halloween. A tiny Butternut Squash is coming so I am excited about that. I bent over the onion tops and we watered and lightly weeded.

Sammy discovered a fallen Plum from the Plum trees above him and reminded me we must make jam this year.

Working at Houghton today I am reminded of all the Bees so Bee loving plants are def on the list for next year's companion planting, Artemisa abrotanum being one of them as the little furry fliers love it!
