Rain and happy plants

A quick pop up the allotment after thunder and lightening storms and the plants look very lush and happy with themselves. The potato project the boys planted is a 'forest' much to the boys delight. The radishes have popped up in a few weeks and the red bodies are poking through their leaves. The onions have green shoots standing up proudly (through the weeds!). Neil with his knee op is still sore so he planted himself on the bench and later managed a bit of sitting down light weeding. A few weeds pulled here and there and the boys were fed up and wanted to go home! Still it is so lovely just to be up there, a little bit now and then will do the trick.
