time and space

A windy and damp day today so perfect for gardening in my opinion! I had a day to choose what to do today.
N had gone to london with the car keys which was great actually because I had to slow down and think about doing something locally. I decided to tidy up the plot. My God it has gotten overgrown but I hacked and dug and cleared a bit. I weeded and moved some Poppies over to a clear bed and you can really see stuff coming together now.

Beets are looking great as are the Raspberries and the Garlic smells wonderful when you weed around it. The Squashes, Courgettes and Pumpkins seem to be slow in taking off but the Peas are really going now.
The Pots have some flowers peeking through the foliage so they are loving the rain. There is plenty of space for more so I will soon bring some Tommies up from home and put them in with canes.

A visit to Aunty Cynth yesterday and I got some lovely ornamental grass which is in my bed at home, trying to re-create the veg patch at home into a wild area with bench for relaxing. Gardening is on my mind all the time at the mo and so lovely to have time and space to be at the plot under no pressure. Bliss.
